Sleep like a King

The Viceroyalty of New Granada (Nueva Granada) or Santafé was a Spanish way of government (1717-1724, 1740-1810 and 1815-1819). The viceroyalty was created by King Felipe V in 1717, in accordance to a new Bourbon policy, which was later suspended in 1724, due to financial problems. The Hotel’s great suite’s decoration makes reference to this period of Colombian history.
