- The Sweet Festival
As a way for recovering and keeping alive the popular traditions of Cartagena and its environs, the Sweet
Festival was born, which is held regularly during Easter. Participants are mostly the afro-colombian people "palenqueras", who with their ancestral culinary skills have managed to captivate native and foreigners, and "sweeten" a little more life.
