La Colonia Room (The Colony Room)

Present day Colombia was not considered a colony by the Spanish administrative establishment given that it was part of the Indies. Thus, it was considered a kingdom (or one of the kingdoms) directly governed by the monarchy, given that the Crown was the owner of the lands and seas discovered and conquered, according to the agreements entered between the conquerors and the Catholic Kings. The Colony Room of the Alfiz Hotel is a testimony of those times.
