La Conquista Room (The Conquest Room)

Cartagena de Indias was founded on the 1st of June of 1533 by Pedro de Heredia. During colonial times the Spanish Crown transported the wealth of Cartagena de India to the Spanish ports of Cartagena, Cadiz and Seville. The room’s decoration reflects those times.
